James Hagen

James Hagen (Lord Montague)
James started his career in Perth in 1975 at the Playhouse and The Hole in the Wall. He later spent seven years working in Britain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, and Holland. Returning to Perth he worked steadily in theatre, radio, and voice over, one of which is the well known “every cigarette is doing you damage”. He has spent 13 years in Sydney where he won the Gluggs Award for best actor in NSW for Lovers at Versaille, Opera House Sydney, plus two tours for the Bell Shakespeare Company. Returning to Perth, James earns a living as a speech and acting teacher. James appeared as Baptista in Shakespeare WA’s The Taming of the Shrew.
